Beth Bachelor Harris

I started to follow my passion for the creative arts in 2009 at the ‘Hampstead College of Fine Arts’. Having achieved the grades I needed I was accepted by The London College of Fashion from where I have recently graduated with a BA in Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance. Over my three years at the university I have acquired a lot of useful skills including sculpting, mould making, casting, prosthetic making and application (in silicone, gelatin, foam latex amongst others.) and important people skills. I love working in a group environment where ideas and passion can be reflected off one another.

Work Placement - Sky Creative

Work Placement – Lifecast Ltd.

March 2014

Lifecast Ltd. Is a prosthetics company based in Elstree Studios. Here I learnt how a successful workshop company ran as well as many new techniques including: how to create and paint prosthetic pieces, creating props and moulds as well as working with silicone. This was my first experience within a small workshop and I loved it. It gave me an insight into the type of environment I want to work in myself. My Placement was for two weeks..
